About the demos
Waylume is an AI travel-agent product by Waylume Labs LLC. The travel studio lets you explore three parts of the experience.
Shape a trip
Lisbon and Dolomites itineraries are curated, fixed examples. Destination, pace and indoor-alternative controls select different example content locally. They do not call an AI model, check weather or validate routes.
Find your budget
The calculator adds accommodation (rooms × nights × nightly cost), food and activities (travellers × days × daily cost), fixed group costs and a percentage buffer. Inputs are editable assumptions in USD, not current market prices or currency conversions.
Ask Waylume
The chat uses the Claude API with Claude Haiku 5.5 for one focused travel question. It accepts at most 600 characters, sends no conversation history and limits output to 400 tokens. There is one request per network every 60 minutes and a shared allowance of 30 requests per UTC day. Failed requests can use an allowance. The assistant has no live search or booking tools; important information must be checked independently.
What comes next
We are exploring Claude Managed Agents for destination research and multi-step planning workflows. Managed Agents is not used in these demos. Any future booking or paid action will require traveler approval.
